Nationwide Rollout of AT&T’s Fiber and 5G Gateway Coming in 2024

Starting early next year, AT&T’s innovative gateway will be accessible nationwide for select new AT&T Business Fiber customers who subscribe to speeds of 1 Gbps or higher. This new gateway, the first of its kind for business customers, combines high-speed fiber internet with 5G backup to maintain continuous connectivity. In the event of a fiber interruption, the device will automatically switch to AT&T’s 5G network (where available) and revert to fiber when service is restored, allowing businesses to remain connected without manual intervention.


This unique solution will initially roll out in Arkansas, California, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, Oklahoma, and Texas.
