Measat, a leading satellite services provider, announced its partnership with Mont Aero, a technology solutions company specializing in the oil, gas, and maritime industries. This collaboration aims to provide faster broadband services to Mont Aero’s clients, even in remote areas with limited coverage. To achieve this, Measat will deploy a portable, communications-on-the-pause (COTP) service for Mont Aero.

The portable COTP service is an innovative mobile satellite broadband solution that allows users to access high-speed broadband without having to install antennas at each location. The lightweight, transportable, electronically steered antenna enables field engineers to perform complex tasks requiring live communication or prompt information exchange via Measat’s high-speed broadband connectivity. This revolutionary technology simplifies and expedites the process for field engineers who often work in challenging environments.

Mont Aero’s managing director, Alimin Hafizi Aminudin, highlighted the benefits of Measat’s portable COTP service in a statement. He emphasized that the COTP service allows their personnel to coordinate live between teams in the field, enabling more efficient completion of complex installations in remote onshore or offshore sites. This collaboration aims to improve productivity and communication capabilities for Mont Aero’s clients.

This partnership demonstrates the potential of satellite technology to enhance communication and connectivity in remote areas, particularly for industries that require reliable broadband services to perform their operations. As a result, Measat and Mont Aero’s collaboration will contribute to the growth and advancement of technology solutions for the oil, gas, and maritime industries.

By leveraging Measat’s expertise in satellite services and Mont Aero’s specialization in technology solutions for the oil, gas, and maritime sectors, this partnership has the potential to revolutionize communication and connectivity in these industries. The deployment of portable COTP services will not only increase efficiency but also create new opportunities for innovation in remote and challenging environments.
