AI Adoption and Zero Trust: Securing the Future of Private 5G Networks | Palo Alto Networks

As AI adoption accelerates, most enterprises still lack proper security guardrails. Mitch from Palo Alto Networks discusses how Zero Trust frameworks are critical for securing private 5G and LTE environments, helping organizations embrace AI responsibly while protecting mission-critical operations.

Iโ€™d like to add to what Meir just mentioned and highlight a recent study that provides valuable context. The study found that nearly 80% of enterprises and organizations are embracing AI in some form. However, fewer than 10%โ€”in fact, only about 6%โ€”believe they currently have the appropriate security guardrails in place to do so safely.

This gap highlights a critical challenge ahead. As organizations accelerate their use of AI applications and tools, theyโ€™re realizing that security must evolve in parallel. Itโ€™s no longer enough to deploy AI capabilities; they must be implemented in a way that is secure, compliant, and trusted.

Weโ€™re going to see this play out especially within private 5G and private LTE environments, where mission-critical networks are beginning to leverage AI for operational efficiency, automation, and decision-making. The benefits are clearโ€”but so are the risks if these networks arenโ€™t properly secured.

Thatโ€™s why itโ€™s such an exciting time to partner with organizations in this spaceโ€”to help them embrace AI responsibly, harden their networks with Zero Trust principles, and unlock innovation with the confidence that their AI-driven operations are protected end to end.
