The Riga project is now seen as a model for other ports and logistics hubs. How adaptable is this deployment framework for similar industrial environments globally?
Speaker: Fergal Concannon (Druid Software)
One of the greatest advantages of our Raemis™ core is how easy it is to deploy. You can’t approach an industrial environment with the same type of solution used in traditional telecom settings. What’s needed is a core that’s simple to deploy, straightforward to manage, and interoperable with multiple RAN providers.
Our system is fully RAN-agnostic — meaning we can connect seamlessly with radio networks from a wide range of manufacturers. This flexibility allows a Druid core to be deployed quickly: you can connect your gNodeBs and be confident that your network will be operational and stable from the start.
We also provide simplified integration hooks to external enterprise systems and services — such as corporate networks, PBXs, and other operational technologies — enabling easy onboarding and interoperability.
This makes our solution extremely adaptable. In fact, we’re confident that very few ports or industrial sites anywhere in the world would be unable to adopt what we consider a true “drop-in network solution” from Druid and our partners.
