Can you share how performance metrics like scanning times, rework, or manual paperwork have improved?
Speaker: Mario Schwarz, Operations Manager
We did our homework and measured a lot at the process level. What we saw is that because of the improved connectivity and the elimination of reconnects—and because we no longer need workarounds like writing down available numbers on paper—we observed a significant increase in process efficiency. I’m not talking about the time needed solely for scanning. I’m talking about the entire end-to-end process time. We improved our process time by up to 80%, which is a really great number.
This improvement comes from eliminating tasks such as:
- Writing down the equivalent numbers
- Going to a terminal
- Entering the available numbers manually to transfer them into the system
Removing these steps leads to the impressive results we are seeing.
