T-Mobile has upgraded its 5G Home and Small Business Internet plans by adding 24/7 tech support for smart homes and built-in cybersecurity for small businesses, at no extra cost. Available on Amplified and All-In plans, these updates address growing demand for internet solutions that combine speed, support, and protection, especially for remote workers and underserved markets. All backed by T-Mobile’s 5G network and a 5-year price guarantee.

T-Mobile has announced new value-driven features for its 5G Home and Small Business Internet plans, further strengthening its position as a competitive broadband provider. As of August 6, 2025, both residential and business customers on select plans will receive additional built-in benefits at no extra cost—highlighting the company’s focus on simplicity, security, and support.

These updates include 24/7 tech support for Home Internet Amplified users and Advanced Cyber Security for Small Business Internet Amplified and All-In customers. The goal: make internet service easier to manage and safer to use, especially for smart homes and small business environments.

Upgraded 5G Home Internet: Now With 24/7 Tech Support

New customers on T-Mobile’s 5G Home Internet Amplified plan will now receive around-the-clock access to live video tech support, helping them troubleshoot and manage smart home devices like thermostats, security cameras, and video doorbells. This level of support was previously only available with the All-In tier.

This upgrade complements existing benefits like:

  • 5-year price guarantee on monthly service rates

  • Unlimited data with no data caps

  • Self-install in 15 minutes using a T-Mobile Gateway

  • 15-day worry-free trial

  • No equipment fees or annual contracts

These improvements come as part of T-Mobile’s larger push to provide a streamlined, self-managed broadband experience over its nationwide 5G network, which is one of the largest and fastest in the U.S.

Small Business Internet Gets Built-In Cybersecurity

For new subscribers on T-Mobile’s Small Business Internet Amplified and All-In plans, Advanced Cyber Security features are now included at no additional cost. These security tools help businesses stay protected by:

  • Blocking malicious websites

  • Detecting unusual or suspicious activity

  • Shielding connected devices from cyber threats

All of these capabilities can be monitored and controlled through the T-Life app, offering business owners an easy-to-use dashboard to manage their network security without requiring specialized IT knowledge.

This addition is especially relevant for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which often lack dedicated cybersecurity resources but face increasing digital threats.

Three Tiers to Choose From — Starting at $35/Month

T-Mobile offers three tiers of service for both home and small business users:

  1. Rely – Affordable, dependable internet starting at $35/month with AutoPay and a T-Mobile voice line

  2. Amplified – Adds new features like 24/7 support and cybersecurity

  3. All-In – Premium tier that includes streaming benefits like Hulu (With Ads) and Paramount+ Essential

These options allow customers to choose the level of service that fits their specific needs, whether for home use, remote work, or small business operations.

Extra Perks for All-In Subscribers

In addition to core connectivity and security features, T-Mobile also includes media perks for its top-tier internet users:

  • Hulu (With Ads): Eligible All-In customers get access to Hulu, with up to two redemptions per account.

  • Paramount+ Essential: Residential All-In subscribers can enjoy Paramount+ as part of their internet bundle.

These offerings reinforce T-Mobile’s strategy of adding entertainment value without increasing the service cost.

Nationwide 5G Powering T-Mobile Internet

T-Mobile’s fixed wireless access (FWA) service runs over its nationwide 5G infrastructure, delivering broadband speeds that compete with traditional cable and fiber providers. Thanks to this FWA model, installation is quick, and customers don’t need to rely on wired connections.

While coverage varies by location, T-Mobile’s reach continues to expand, especially in underserved or rural areas where broadband options remain limited.

Privacy, Data Management, and Fair Use Policies

T-Mobile notes that during times of network congestion, customers using over 1.2TB/month may experience reduced speeds due to data prioritization. The service is intended for use only at the address registered during activation and is supported by select T-Mobile Gateways.

The 5-year price guarantee only applies to fixed wireless 5G data service on eligible plans. It does not include taxes, fees, optional upgrades, or third-party services.

Streaming perks are also subject to their own limitations. Hulu and Paramount+ are only available for eligible customers, and offer terms may change or be discontinued at any time. Users should review the Hulu Subscriber Agreement and Paramount+ Terms for full conditions.

How to Sign Up

  • To sign up for 5G Home Internet, visit T-Mobile’s official page, go to a retail location, or call 1-866-937-0091.

  • For Small Business Internet, visit a T-Mobile store to explore available options.

Why This Matters

T-Mobile’s enhanced internet plans reflect a larger industry trend of bundling support and security into core broadband services. As fixed wireless access becomes more widespread, ISPs must go beyond speed to deliver real value.

By including 24/7 tech support and advanced cybersecurity, T-Mobile targets real-world user needs—whether it’s helping a homeowner reset their smart thermostat or protecting a retail business from phishing attempts.

For households and SMBs looking for flexible, no-contract internet powered by 5G, these updated T-Mobile offerings deliver a strong balance of performance, protection, and price.
