For Druid, we already have experience working in ports, but the BCT terminal deployment is a very complete implementation within a modern intermodal port operation.
It touches every part of the intermodal processes within the port — from communications with workers operating in the apron area and around the container stacks, to providing data connectivity for the terminal operating system.
This connectivity allows the port to significantly increase efficiency through the use of the 5G network. It also demonstrated how simple and efficient the installation of that network was for our partner, LMT, in that space.
