Key Highlights

  • Industry-Leading Innovation: AT&T introduces the first-ever business device that merges AT&T Business Fiber with 5G for automatic internet failover.
  • Reliable Connectivity: This integrated gateway combines fiber and 5G, ensuring consistent, uninterrupted service.
  • Automatic Failover: The device switches seamlessly to AT&T’s 5G network in the rare case of fiber outages, providing businesses with steady connectivity from a single, convenient device.

Nationwide Rollout of AT&T’s Fiber and 5G Gateway Coming in 2024

Starting early next year, AT&T’s innovative gateway will be accessible nationwide for select new AT&T Business Fiber customers who subscribe to speeds of 1 Gbps or higher. This new gateway, the first of its kind for business customers, combines high-speed fiber internet with 5G backup to maintain continuous connectivity. In the event of a fiber interruption, the device will automatically switch to AT&T’s 5G network (where available) and revert to fiber when service is restored, allowing businesses to remain connected without manual intervention.

This unique solution will initially roll out in Arkansas, California, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, Oklahoma, and Texas.

The Importance of Reliable Business Connectivity and How AT&T Delivers

For businesses, connectivity issues can mean lost revenue, productivity setbacks, and customer dissatisfaction. AT&T’s integrated gateway provides a seamless convergence of fiber and 5G wireless networks in a single device, helping to prevent disruptions. This device is particularly beneficial for businesses with lean operational teams, offering a simple, effective way to maintain operations during outages.

Key Features of AT&T’s Fiber and 5G Integrated Gateway
