Steve Ballantyne

Steve Ballantyne is a Co-founder and VP of Sales at Spry Fox Networks (SFN), which develop products and solutions for wireless networks. He drives the vision for SFN in helping their customers monetise their 5G networks. He is leading the go-to-market strategy for QP-Cloud Monet, QP-NEF and APIs such as QP-LOKA. He also leads sales for the Mobile Repeater Solutions where SFN has delivered one of the largest indoor repeater deployments in the UK.

Steve has over three decades of experience in building global wireless networks from the ground-up across technologies such as Wireless Local Loop, GSM, UMTS, LTE and now 5G. He has been instrumental in deploying multiple innovative products such as 3G/4G macro and small cells, 3G-TDD RAN, 3G/4G/5G Core NFs and Mobile Repeaters. In his spare time Steve likes to spend time on Security, IoT, IPv6 and anything to do with routing and switching new and old.
