SCF is the global trade organization committed to accelerating the sustainable digital transformation of industry, enterprise and communities. The awards are recognized as a mark of peer-reviewed excellence and cover both technical innovation and commercial success.
All entries are assessed by the expert judging panel which includes Caroline Gabriel, industry analyst and SCF Content Director; Simon Saunders, industry expert and fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering; Monica Paolini, Founder and Analyst, Senza Fili; Sue Rudd, Analyst and Director at B-Band Communications; and Keith Dyer, Editor and Founder of The Mobile Network.
Entries can be submitted into one or more of the six open categories. This year also sees the return of the Judge’s Choice award. This year’s categories have been updated to accommodate new areas of the wireless connectivity industry including AI, cloudification and Open RAN.
SCF Chair, Dr. Prabhakar Chitrapu, says: “The SCF Mobile Network Awards are an opportunity to recognize tangible advances in how mobile networks are being designed, deployed, and operated across a wide range of use cases. We are looking forward to seeing entries that demonstrate real advances in connectivity, from established players and from newer entrants to the ecosystem.”
Awards are open to the whole industry, not exclusively SCF members, and regularly attract a wide range of entrants from across the industry including mobile network operators, neutral hosts, private network operators, software, hardware, and chipset vendors.
Previous winners include major players in the sector as well as smaller companies and stand-out collaborations, such as the winners of the 2025 Judges’ Award: Shared Access, GiveVision, Airspan Networks, Neutroon and Druid Software, recognized for the initiative Vision Reimagined – Empowering Sight Loss Fans with 5G Connectivity.
Entries close on 3rd April 2026. Category information along with instructions on how to submit an entry can be found at https://www.smallcellforum.org/awards-2026/
