Mexico’s antitrust authority approved the US$450m sale of 100% of Telefónica México (Pegaso PCS and Celular de Telefonía) to Melisa Acquisition, led by Oxio and Newfoundland Capital Management. Oxio plans to keep the wholesale network access agreement with AT&T in place through 2030 and augment it with additional providers using a cloud- and software-driven approach.
