Ravi Puvvala

Ravi is a Silicon Valley resident & is currently the Managing Director of Orkay Consulting through which he advises Center for Automotive Research, Automotive Startups & Connected Infrastructure groups. He serves on the board of directors of Auto-ISAC, which is a consortium of Automotive OEMs, their suppliers for cybersecurity Information Sharing & Analysis.

Ravi previously served as the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Savari, a provider of V2X technology in 5G solutions for OEM auto manufacturers and smart cities. Savari was acquired by Harman (A Samsung Subsidiary) in Feb 2021, where he served as the Vice President of the Cybersecurity & Connectivity Business until May 2023.

Prior to Savari, Ravi was the Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Arada Systems, a global leader in emerging connected car technologies, and the company was acquired by Netgear. Prior to being an entrepreneur, he worked for various silicon valley startups.

Ravi has extensively presented on 5G, Edge, V2X topics at industry conferences such as 5GAA, AutoISAC, Connected Car, Edge Forum, ITS-America, IWPC, and NMG.

Ravi holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from Bangalore University, India and Arizona State University, United States.
