Bill Wright is a Senior AI Architect/SSP in the telecommunications vertical at Red Hat, assigned to Tier 1 operators. He is also the Chair and founder of the Enterprise Neurosystem AI research community, working with the United Nations on global climate change early warning and AI analysis solutions for developing nations. He has held roles as a Chief Architect for AI and Customer Innovation in the Red Hat Office of the CTO, and previously worked at Affirmed Networks as a Director of Product Management for Virtualization and Security. He also started the first Telecom business unit at VMware, and led the early research and development with industry partners Affirmed Networks, Ericsson and Mitel on Network Function Virtualization (NFV) with architect Sanjay Aiyagari, which eventually kickstarted the NFV technology movement.
