The Telecom Infra Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering the development and deployment of open and disaggregated communications network technologies.
Fyuz is a B2B industry event created to support that work by providing a platform for our participants and project groups to share and promote progress in a physical setting with various stakeholders including journalists, analysts, researchers, regulators and policy makers.
The event includes
- An exhibition showcasing companies from across the open and disaggregated ecosystem including vendors and OEMs, software developers, systems integrators
- Technology showcases and product demos
- Networking
- A thought leadership mainstage program featuring senior executives from across the industry
- Multiple summits featuring expert speakers and industry insiders sharing their latest insights across a range of topics (Open RAN Summit; Open WiFi Summit; Open Transport Summit; Fixed Broadband Summit; Non Terrestrial Connectivity Summit; Metaverse Ready Networks Summit; Neutral Host Summit; Test & Validation Summit; Made in India Summit; Upskilling Summit)
In addition, Fyuz is designed to be an experiential event. We believe that by stimulating our attendees’ senses we can create a more memorable and impactful experience.
We achieve this by selecting an event theme that allows us to
- Talk about technology in a more interesting and creative way
- Challenges expectations of traditional event elements like the exhibitionย
- Create an onsite experience that engages all of the senses
In 2022 the event theme was food. The tagline became โtaste the future of connectivityโ and the exhibition was set up like a street food market.
FYUZ 2022 by the numbers
- Over 1350 people attended in person
- Representation from over 60 countries
- More than 45% of attendees were senior level (Director and above)
- Over 30 exhibiting companies
- Over 220 conference and partner programme speakers
- Over 20% of conference speakers were female
- 51 hours of event content
In 2023, the event theme is plants and flowers, the tagline is โtogether we growโ and the exhibition will be set out like a community garden. Below is an outline of the event:

Mainstage Program
Day 1: Together we grow
At the Telecom Infra Project, we believe our success has grown from the collaborative nature of our work and the community-driven approach we adopt to overcome technological challenges.
On the opening day of Fyuz23, senior executives from across the world of open and disaggregated network infrastructure will share valuable insights from the field through a series of case studies covering Open RAN, Open Transport and Open WiFi deployments followed by discussions focused on identifying some of the remaining challenges standing in the way of wider industry adoption.
Day 2: Seeds of change – Accelerating transformation
The transformative power of open and disaggregated network infrastructure extends beyond the technology itself, impacting operational and business models alike. Embracing this change necessitates a complete paradigm shift, influencing every aspect from procurement to deployment and maintenance. As operators and service providers navigate these challenges, private networks and neutral networks offer captivating glimpses into the opportunities these significant changes will unlock.
Day 3: New fields for innovation
Open and disaggregated network infrastructure provides a fertile ground for industry innovation rooted in a collaborative approach to identifying and solving specific technology challenges. On the final morning of Fyuz23 speakers will outline the next frontiers for hardware and software disaggregation, examine the role AI and ML will play across various network functions and elements and discuss how these technologies will contribute to future generations of connectivity.
