OneLayer was designed specifically for private LTE and 5G networks — not as a broad solution for all mobile network challenges or for how traditional mobile operators manage their environments. When we spoke with enterprises, we noticed that their perspective was always centered on the end device.
At the end of the day, they’re connecting devices to their operational technology (OT) networks and want clear visibility into what that device is — not just the SIM inside it. Every discussion we had with them revolved around applications and user equipment, much like the way they think in traditional IP networking.
These conversations shaped our entire approach. Instead of being SIM-centric — as you often see in dashboards from vendors like Nokia, Ericsson, Verizon, or AT&T, which primarily display lists of SIMs and related data — OneLayer is device-first.
In our platform, whenever a SIM is inserted into a device on the network, we automatically create a dedicated profile page for that device. Every anomaly, data point, and security event is correlated directly with that device. In other words, everything in OneLayer originates from and revolves around the device itself — that’s how we operate.
